Chris Kress
President/Producer/Engineer
Chris Kress is the founder and President of PMD Recording, Incorporated. He graduated from Ball State University in 1992, studying music performance, classical guitar, jazz guitar, and computer science. He also performed in various university ensembles on bass guitar and percussion. During the course of studies, Chris also played in various pop music ensembles, and produced local radio commercials.

After graduation, Chris moved to Charlottesville, VA. He continued creating radio spots and began creating music and sound effects for video games. In 1996 he and partners opened PMD Recording and have continued its development into music production.

House Engineer
Dale, a recent graduate of SAE Nashville, is our full-time house engineer. He is a hard worker and great guy to hang with as well. No matter what your session calls for, you will enjoy your time with Dale and PMD recording.
