Like wedding or engagement rings wedding bands are also made from yellow or white gold. Yellow gold is the most traditional of metals. Look at the mark inside the band to see what quality the gold is – usually 14k, 18k, or 24k. While 24k is the most pure, it is also the softest. If you work with your hands, you may need to choose 14k or 18k to prevent scratches. As we have mentioned earlier that white gold is more popular because of its platinum like appearance. Silver or platinum are also can be used for making a wedding band similar to a wedding ring and they may or may not include some diamonds set into the ring. Because they are never-ending, they symbolize a love that lasts forever.

If you use a diamond on it then it will project or bulge out a big diamond from any side of the ring. Their structures will be also circular upper portion will be looking different. If you need to make it by your own design then you can buy a diamond separately and then give an order to make it according to your wish. By purchasing loose diamonds, you will be able to more accurately determine the quality of particular diamonds. Diamond quality is determined by the Four Cs which are cut, clarity, color, and carat. When purchasing loose diamonds, make sure to ask for certification of quality ratings for any diamond that interests you. For a slightly flashier look, what about channel-set diamonds? Plain gold , diamond beaded, contemporary sleek looking, two toned, designer, carved, Celtic, unique, hand braided, fancy, gem stoned, titanium, Christian, tungsten, platinum, palladium and matching set wedding bands are available in the market to pick your choice. But you have to remember that chosen wedding band match with your personality and expressive with your style.

Planning to call a major music publisher or record label to pitch your artist or songs? If you have ever tried calling in to speak and an a&r or music supervisor you know how difficult it is sometimes to actually speak with the person you want.

Before calling in, do some homework on the company first. Use the search engines to find and write down names and positions. You should know the names of the a&r, the music supervisor and the ceo. Next you need to make sure that the companies you’re contacting currently represent your style of music, other wise it is a waste of time.

Now that you know a little bit about the company it is time for a cold call check. Try calling the first time, as a fan of one of their artist, you can get a lot more information the first time around this way. Make sure you greet whoever ever answers the phone. If they say something like “Melody Records this is Carrie”.Then you say “good morning (Carrie how are you?)”. Now you have made the call more personal by restating her name.

Verify the physical address, and ask about an artist on the roster, mention that you would like to send a gift or letter. She may give you a website link, and hang up on you, but that’s okay say thank you and slide in your name before you go.

Let’s look at what you have established so far with one phone call. You now know the company. You know the name of one of the staff, and the style of music they accept. You have verified the physical address. Good Job!

Now let’s put the information we’ve got into action. You have the right address and you know the name of someone whoever works there. Carrie answered the phone when you called, but I’d be willing to bet that she does more than just answer phones, and Carrie is working at a record label for a reason (hint). So… what if you sent Carrie a thank you card, with a piece of candy. That’s called making an impression or kissing up which ever works best for you.

This is a good way to have your name and business, in the door again. It is all about impressions the more times you may be mentioned, heard or read about the better. Now give it a week and make the call for a second time. If Carrie answer the phone your in the money, all you need to do is remind her that she was so nice to you when you called that you had to send a thank you card.

It doesn’t matter if she remembers you can present your reason for calling and get a good honest response. Keep your ears open and note pad handy at all times in case you get more information regarding the a&r or music supervisor. If Carrie doesn’t answer the phone you can still play off the fact that you spoke with her concerning the a&r you’re trying to reach. That usually works when you know the name of someone there that’s not a&r.

Now believe it or not you have built a small relationship with the company, it is your job to maintain the relationship. Don’t be a pest calling everyday asking the same questions, but you can check once a week to see if they’re taking demos, what projects the company plans to launch etc..

When you send your package, send one to the a&r, and please don’t forget your good friend Carrie. She more than likely gets the mail anyway and will listen to many cd’s everyday. Hope this helps someone and thanks for reading.

Wedding is the most important moment in everyones life. Speak of wedding and the next thing you would remember is a wedding ring. It is used as a part of the wedding ritual. Exchanging a wedding ring is a symbolic representation of a bond between the couple. The moment when the ring is exchanged is very important and dear to the couple. Most of the couples exchange and engagement ring at the time of the engagement. Thus after the marriage the wedding ring is worn along with the engagement ring. The wedding ring is mostly worn on the base of left ring finger. In any countries of the world it is worn on the right ring finger also.

A wedding ring is also known as a wedding band. It is always made with a precious material such as gold, silver or platinum. Choosing the material is a major decision to be made when you purchase a wedding ring. The major factors that are involved in choosing the material are the cost and design of the ring.

One of the most preferred wedding rings is white gold wedding ring. White gold is an alloy of gold and at least of one of the white metals such as nickel or palladium. The white gold alloy of gold and nickel is mostly preferred for rings as it is stronger. The ideal quality of white gold available is of 17 carat’s made with gold and palladium alloy.

White gold rings have variety of designs for you to select from. If you wish to have a simple ring you can select a wedding band. This will be a plain ring with no design or stonework on it. The most simple and charming designs of all rings. In case you would like to have any artistic design work then you may select rings with any handwork in them.

Choosing a diamond ring should be a good option for your life partner. A diamond is forever and has its own charm in a ring. Diamond stone work in a white gold ring should be a excellent choice.

Visit any of the jewelry shops and you can find lots of designs of white gold rings. You’ll be having plenty of choices to select from. Another option that you’ve is to use the Internet. You would get a fair idea of the latest fashion, design and even the cost of the rings. Thus you can be prepared well when you want to purchase the ring.

There’s no rule that the two rings must be of the same design. You can have different types of rings for the bride and the bridegroom. Before you select the wedding ring design it is important to select it keeping in mind your taste. 1. Becoming past due – If you’re the particular manufacture make an appearance first to make sure things are functional. In case you are the actual artist will not make manufacture hang on in your case.

Two. Not necessarily altering the post of your respective acoustic guitar – Scummy post is not fixed in the combine.

3. Unsure the parts – It is a total waste of time and funds in the future not prepared.

Four. Vocal having a cool – Reschedule your current oral program once you know you cannot perform.

Five. Providing the poor efficiency – Not all thing could be set from the combine.

Six. Becoming disrespectful – It goes without saying, the industrial engineer can be your closest friend. So treat him effectively.

7. Recording regarding recording’s welfare – Similar to being unsure of your current pieces. If you’re only piling in components without having a apparent path, it is still pointless and cash.

8. Recording a new terribly appearing drum-kit – Replace the drum heads and also track your own percussion. It’s going to be worthwhile.

Being unfaithful. Lacking a strategy – Make sure you understand what you are going to do in the program. A great program will go a considerable ways.

12. Will not put too much into a single treatment – Try not to develop report percussion, largemouth bass and also orchestra in the very same three hour or so program. Recording needs time to work, therefore strategy appropriately.

11. Omitting the warm-up – Vocal very first thing all day is difficult is it not? Same with nailing any Two hundred beats per minute by yourself with out starting to warm up the fingertips.

Twelve. studio rekaman also warm – Better be safe when compared with i’m sorry. Document at reduce digital camera amounts to avoid clipping.

Tough luck. Not being in melody – I apologize. It’s really a puppy peeve, however everyone is at risk of forget about to melody their own tools.

15. Not having sufficient wires – Point out you’re carrying out a area recording and you did not carry sufficient cabling. It is not only a massive waste to visit and obtain that which you forgot, it displays inadequately for you being a specialist.

16. Not being familiar with precisely how issues perform – Should you be using a fresh item of equipment, or operating with a brand new studio then it is essential you don’t look ridiculous when you are racking your brains on exactly how issues operate.

Sixteen. Correct it inside the combination? Once you know you are able to (and definately will) repair it in the combination, after that utilize this word. Knowing you simply cannot fix it, also .. It is one of the more common traces in the sound business.

Seventeen. Connect – Though designers along with artists really are a strongly carefully bred varieties they just don’t discuss each of the vocabulary that is certainly purely natural for them. In the event the professional is not a artist and then obtaining also musical technology will be confusing. Also and an industrial engineer addressing “audio-engineer-y.”

Eighteen. Avoid drug treatments – I understand precisely what Expenses Hicks mentioned regarding medications along with music, yet it is not often recommended that you end up being stoned or even intoxicated throughout a recording program.

20. Bring extra supplies – Additional guitar strings, further selections and additional drum stays for instance. Some things crack and it is really easier to be prepared when (not in case) that happens.

Something like 20. Bust the program straight into bits – It is preferable to record a pair of lively a number of classes than one long nine hr one the place that the last two hrs people are tired and also studio music jakarta.

Twenty one. Not cozy – Being an performer, your main efficiency is based on the way you are feeling when you are recording. Should you not feel at ease your enjoying are affected.

Bottom line

Think it over, you can find equally as many things you need to Not necessarily do today to obtain that excellent recording documented on “tape”. Much like all is here following a correct tips for recording, executive as well as musicianship; there’s also a few issues you have to avoid.

With the economic trends being more challenging over the last few months, you may be one of a bunch of students out there who are weighing your options when it comes to your next step after graduation. Is college an option? Or are there other ways to get into the music recording business?

Working in the music recording industry means a chance to work with top recording artists and musicians. There are many different careers in the industry. Music producers guide the shape of sound, while a sound engineer captures sound.

The music business is trending towards moving online, so it is really important to learn as much about the music recording side of the business as you can. Digital music distribution over the Internet has really changed the landscape of the music business. Music technology has also grown quite a bit. Musicians today have to have a good knowledge about technology — some of which is software based. The virtual world means having to be famaliar with software, plus there is still some hardware based technologies.

Donny Baker is a music producer and studio engineer at Elephant Symphony in Glendale, California says he likes teaching via the mentor approach because once his students graduate, they are engineers. Technology is constantly changing but in this industry it is changing backwards.

Baker’s mentor approach works, and the best part is that you’ll get a real world learning experience in a New York music recording school or one in Los Angeles.

there are a number of students who went to college, then did a mentor perogram afterwards to learn. At one Los Angeles music recording school, a student from Atlanta said, “During my apprenticeship I got to meet P. Ditty, Master P. and Jermaine Dupri. I had the honor of working with David Banner in Atlanta. I cannot even explain to you how much this program did for me. I thank you and bless you.”

There is just tons of stuff that the mentor programs teach that you just don’t, or cannot get in traditional schools. The curriculum qualifies graduates for positions as a music producer or a recording engineer.

Students are taught in one-on-one private sessions in a recording studio. It’s an apprentice type program – under the direct supervision of a music industry professional working on real-world projects. Plus there’s no experience necessary, and students can take classes part time during night or weekend sessions.

The teachers who are mentors in the music recording business know how to succeed in the very competitive recording and engineering field – so they end up passing their knowledge and experience on to the students. It is a win-win situation.

It’s way things have always been, the best work was always done in a professional setting. Of course there are always exceptions like moms home cooking but for the most part, particularly when it came to music recording, it was always best to do it in a professional recording studio. So now the computer is testing some of these time tested truisms because you can now buy and use your own recording software. This is software that can turn a room in your home with a computer sitting on a table into your own recording studio. Can you actually replace a professional recording studio with this software, and if not just what is it that a professional studio has to offer that you’ll benefit from?

Home recording software is indeed a great leap forward for today’s musicians, particularly those on a tight budget. Even so you do have to keep a couple things in mind. The technology in today’s professional recording studio has advanced in recent years and this is one of the main reasons why that even with this new home based option available, big-name signed recording artists all produce their finished product in a professional setting.

Now this doesn’t mean that they don’t have and use home recording software on their computers because you can rest assured that most of them do. But as noted above when it comes time to produce their final finished marketable product, with so much at stake that job is left to professionals in a professional setting.

For instance in a professional recording studio you’re going to be working with people who make recording and producing music their full-time job. They devote their whole lives to it because it’s their chosen profession.

So even if you have the equipment to record at home you still don’t have their level of experience or level of devotion to that technical side of the music business. Thinking that you’re going to get the same level of quality in your finished product in your home studio as you would in this type of setting working with full-time pros is absurd.

What too many musicians fail to take into account is the number of demo tapes that big-name record company executives receive on a daily basis. You need something to set what you have to offer apart from all the rest, and a professional recording studio can offer you just that.

Now it doesn’t take a professor in economics know that it’s the cost that’s the main prohibitive factor here. It’s just cheaper to do at home.

The true story that the big stars don’t tell you is that they invested well in what they believed in. They considered the money that they spent on what they were doing to be investment capital that will come back to them as future profits.

Studios fall into three basic categories, Home studios, Project studios and Commercial studios. It’s gorgeous apparent what a home studio is. Many people working in the music industry, and even the TV and film industries, have their own studios at home. They put them in the spare room, the garage, the basement, an outhouse – even in a corner of a bedroom sometimes. And there is no reason why a home studio should not produce recordings that challenge top commercial facilities. Obviously in a top commercial studio helpful staff will make it easier for you to do your best work, the equipment and acoustics will be first class, and you will probably be working with top musicians too – there may even be a restaurant and bar! Of course the top studio is always going to be that little bit better – but it really is just a little bit. You can do professional work in a bedroom. Sometimes simplicity sells, and you don’t always need a twenty-four track studio to make a song demo or a soundtrack for a documentary.

There really is not any difference between a home studio and a so-called project studio. A home studio is a project studio that you have at home, so that’s easily dealt with. So what’s the difference between a project studio and a commercial studio? Simply, a commercial studio is available to all comers at an hourly or daily rate. Make a booking, do your stuff in the studio, pay the invoice and collect the tape. A project studio is something owned by one person, or maybe a partnership, where the owner or owners work on their own projects. The owner may be a musician working on a CD, or a composer working on a TV soundtrack. Commercial bookings are not welcome in a project studio because a) they are taking up studio time that the owner would probably rather use, and b) once you start hiring your studio out as a facility you become involved in many more health and safety regulations and your insurance premiums will probably go through the roof.

What people do in their project studios is of course really their own business! But I have identified at least five distinct categories of project studio. Take a look at what you can achieve, if you have a mind to. . .

Anyone who lives in Austin knows why the city council adopted the slogan live music capital of the world” in 1991. For those just visiting, the city offers many opportunities to find out.
The famed music scene of Austin began in the 60s and 70s at the Vulcan Gas Company. Musicians played country music here to crowds of loud and enthusiastic fans. Willie Nelson moved to Austin in 1965 and kick started his career in front of these audiences. He went on to become one of the most successful country music artists of all time. Not long after, the Vulcan Gas Company became known as the Armadillo World Headquarters, or just The Armadillo, and Austin’s music really took off.

As the music scene grew more popular, Austin gained a reputation for welcoming struggling artists. Bands and singers knew they would find receptive audiences at numerous informal establishments and the type of music played expanded to include jazz, blues, rock and roll, and everything in between.

The music scene in Austin has fostered the career of many now famous musicians. Perhaps the most legendary, Stevie Ray Vaughan is one of the most influential blues guitarists in the world. He first played at Antone’s, the club founded by his mentor and record producer, Clifford Antone.

Television and annual festivals have helped Austin develop into the live music capital. The show Austin City Limits first aired on PBS in 1975. The live music experience showcased the variety of artists heard in Austin and helped significantly to grow the city’s music reputation. Almost every kind of music imaginable can be heard at the three day Austin City Limits Music Festival held every September. Since its inception in 2002, it has become one of the premier music festivals in the country.

The Sixth Street area of downtown Austin houses the largest collection of live music venues and is the location of the South by Southwest Festival. SXSW, as it is known, is a music and film festival that has generated more revenue than even the Texas Longhorn’s home games.

Certainly, the times of year that coincide with the music festivals are the most exciting for fans of live music. At any other time of year, tourists may be disappointed with the atmosphere of the famed Sixth Street area. Several of the original, small music venues have closed and in their place are more profitable bars and clubs.

While some may believe the eclectic, small feel of Austin’s music scene is waning, others still revel in the live entertainment.
